Privacy policy

This policy explains what the ListMyRecords app and website ("ListMyRecords", "we") collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account details: your e-mail address, or the name and e-mail your Apple or Google sign-in shares with us.
- Photos and scan data: the photos you take of records, the barcode or text read from them, the matching releases, and the results you confirm or reject.
- Marketplace connections: when you connect Discogs, Etsy or eBay, we store the access tokens those services issue, your username or shop ID, and your seller settings (shipping, returns).
- Listings: the titles, descriptions, prices, conditions and photos of listings you create, and the marketplace's response.
- Collection: records you add to or import into your collection.
- Usage: how many scans you make, for plan limits, plus technical logs (errors, request times).
How we use it
- To identify records, estimate their value and show current offers.
- To create, update and publish listings on the marketplaces you connect, only when you send them.
- To keep your account, collection and settings working across devices.
- To check and improve recognition accuracy, and to fix problems.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Services that process your data
- Anthropic – reads record photos and writes listing descriptions (AI processing).
- Discogs, Etsy, eBay – record data, prices, offers and the listings you send; their own privacy policies apply to data you share with them.
- Supabase – accounts and sign-in.
- Vercel – hosting and file storage for photos and app data.
We share only what each service needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. Scan photos are kept for a limited time to check recognition accuracy and are then deleted. Listing photos are kept while you may still need them for your listings.
Your choices
- You can disconnect Discogs, Etsy or eBay at any time in the app; we then delete the stored tokens.
- You can delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account). This deletes your account, connections, settings, collection and listing files.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of anything else (including scan photos) at support@listmyrecords.com.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Marketplace tokens are stored on our servers, never in plain text in the app, and only used to act on your behalf when you ask.
Children
ListMyRecords is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
